This policy applies to Rondthaler.dev only — the personal brand and informational site of John (Chris) Rondthaler. It does not govern IT CloudLink client engagements, which are covered by separate Master Service Agreements and, where applicable, Business Associate Agreements under HIPAA.
What Rondthaler.dev Collects
Analytics
This site uses Plausible Analytics — no cookies, no personal data, fully GDPR/CCPA/PECR compliant. Plausible collects page views, referral sources, general browser and device type, and country-level location. IP addresses are never stored. No individual is identified or tracked.
Contact Form
Submissions through the contact form are processed by Formspree and delivered to IT CloudLink for follow-up. Submitting the form does not add you to a mailing list. Your information is not used for marketing without explicit consent.
What This Site Does Not Do
- No tracking cookies
- No advertising networks
- No cross-site analytics
- No user accounts
- No sale or sharing of personal data
IT CloudLink — Separate Entity, Separate Agreements
If you become an IT CloudLink client, data handling is governed by your service agreement and, for covered healthcare entities, a signed BAA. Those obligations are separate from and independent of this site's privacy practices.
Data Retention
Contact form submissions are retained by IT CloudLink as long as necessary for business record-keeping. Plausible analytics data is aggregate and anonymous — no individual record exists to delete.
Your Rights
To request removal of contact form data, email support@rondthaler.dev.
Changes to This Policy
The effective date at the top of this page will be updated if this policy changes materially.
